Artwork 2018-2019

This body of work explores the environmental impact on human migration. Ecological disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes, major flooding and so forth are some of the instances that can lead to vast migration. This work investigates American culture as one of the leading causes for these catastrophic events. From cheap clothing to pre-packed meals we are constantly encouraged to buy, consume then dispose because products are convenient and cheap to buy again. Eventually this creates an excess amount of waste that leads to environmental hazards.
